Looking for total immersion? The kind that gives you goosebumps before you’ve even laced your shoes?
Forget stopwatches, inflatable arches and over-excited announcers. This time we go back to basics: instinct. Between mid-September and mid-October, as the mountain turns to autumn, the forest changes its face… and its sound.
The idea
A partly night-time Trail Off weekend, in stealth mode. We head into the woods by headlamp with one goal: running to the rhythm of the kings of the forest. The red deer rut is powerful and raw, and hearing it echo through the dark while you climb a singletrack reconnects you straight to your wild side.
What to expect
- Elevation, of course. This is Bajana, we’re not here to count daisies.
- Contemplation and silence. “Off” breaks to listen to the power of nature.
- The Bajana spirit. We handle everything: real-time GPS tracking so nobody gets lost (yes, the wolf is back in the Cévennes), aid stations, tailor-made routes and good local food.

When?
For now we’re watching the weather and the stags’ mood. No fixed date or price yet, just a question: who’s keen enough to join this night adventure? Raise your hand: if enough of you are in, we’ll open bookings for autumn 2027.
